THE PROVINCIAL government of Pangasinan will distribute more than 8,000 tablets to select students.

A total of 8,128 tablets will be given. Pangasinan 1 and 2 Schools Division each will receive 3,464 tablets while the Urdaneta City, Alaminos City and San Carlos City Schools Division will get 400 each.

The gadgets were requested by the schools division superintendents to give to “deserving students.”

“Ang aming pangako sa ating gobernador na ang mga tablets ay mapapasakamay ng mga mag-aaral na binantayan namin at pinili sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang pamantayan para matiyak na deserving,” DepEd Pangasinan School Divisions 1 Assistant Suerindent Ely Ubaldo said.

Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III reminded teachers to focus on their students.

“Mag-two years nang walang face-to-face classes kaya sana magabayan nang husto ang mga kabataan,” Espino said.

“I thank you for your sacrifice, especially in this new environment to an unknown future. But one thing is for sure, this will soon be over,” he added.
