THE DEPARTMENT of Education in Region 3 is preparing to reopen all public schools in Central Luzon for face-to-face classes.
The composite teams and principals of the various public schools in the region underwent orientation on the teaching guidelines and learning components in the execution of the face-to-face classes, a report released by the DepEd Regional Office III said.
Regional Director May Eclar said that the orientation aims to clarify and emphasize the process of preparing schools to obtain the school safety assessment tool compliance certificate and safety stamp.
“Nilalayon ng ating regional office na sa pagtatapos ng buwan ng Marso, 100 percent SSATCC compliant na ang mga lahat ng pampublikong paaralan sa rehiyon,” Eclar said.
As of March 14, 1,764 public and seven private schools in the region have been given compliance certificates.
The SSAT assesses a school’s readiness based on four indicators – school operations, teaching and learning, wellness and protection, and home-school coordination.
