THE DEPARTMENT of Education-Cotabato City Division has recovered its Facebook page that was hacked.

“The hacking incident, which resulted in the unauthorized access to our Facebook page, was a deeply regrettable event. We understand the concerns and inconvenience it may have caused to our stakeholders, and we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any distress experienced,” the division said in an advisory.

It acknowledged the gravity of the incident and assured the public that measures will be implemented to prevent it from happening again.

“We will be conducting a thorough assessment of the hacking incident, evaluating our security protocols, and reinforcing our defenses to safeguard our digital assets effectively,” it said.

“We understand the importance of maintaining open lines of communication with our community, and we assure you that the DepEd Cotabato Division Page will continue to serve as a reliable platform for disseminating accurate information, announcements, and updates regarding our educational initiatives, programs, and events,” it added.
