PUBLIC schools in Bicol were tapped as vaccination centers for the three-day inoculation drive from November 29 to December 1, the Department of Education said.

Teaching and non-teaching personnel volunteered to help in the jab campaign, DepEd-Bicol Regional Director Gilbert Sadsad said.

“DepEd Bicol is in full support of the Department of Health’s three-day mass vaccination dubbed Bayanihan Bakunahan on November 29 to December 1, 2021,” he said.

The nationwide vaccination campaign aims to inoculate 9 million Filipinos who have not yet received their Covid19 jabs.

The initiative is part of the government’s effort to reach the target population to be inoculated before the year ends.
