THE DEPARTMENT of Education Schools Division Office of Bataan held a blessing and inauguration of its new division office and workstation on October 5.

Deped-Bataan said that the new office will help it serve teachers, personnel, and stakeholders better by accommodating them in a conducive environment.

A Thanksgiving Mass was also held which was attended by SDO officials, personnel, teachers, and local government leaders.

The event was graced by various governmental and organizational leaders in the province and officials of DepEd Bataan including Governor Jose Enrique Garcia, Pusong Pinoy Party-list Rep. Jett Nisay, Schools Division Superintendent Carolina Violeta, CESO VI, CID Chief Milagros Peñaflor l, Mayor Ruben Tagle of Abucay, Calaylayan Barangay Captain Priscilla Cordova and Federated Parents-Teachers Association President Mr. Luis Orpiano.

The SDO provided free eye checks and cataract consultations, free reading glasses, free physical and medical exams, free vitamins, blood donation drive and medical examination for teachers as part of the celebration of World Teachers’ Day.
