COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN CAMSUR RECEIVE LAPTOPS
TWO community colleges in Camarines Sur have received laptops from the Department of Information and Communications Technology.
A total of 50 laptop units were provided to Governor Mariano E. Villafuerte Community College in Libmanan, while Baao Community College received 25 units.
DICT stated that this initiative is part of its flagship Project CLICK (Courses for Literacy in Internet and Computer Knowledge), which upholds the belief that digital access is a basic right—not a privilege.
“Through Project CLICK, we’re turning digital gaps into growth. With every device handed over, we move closer to a Philippines where no one is left offline. This is Digital Bayanihan in action: one click, one community, one future at a time,” said DICT Secretary Henry Aguda.
Assistant Secretary for Upskilling and Consumer Protection Wilroy Ticzon emphasized that providing these devices opens doors to opportunity, innovation, and a brighter future for our learners.
