OVER 5,000 teachers gathered in Candon City, Ilocos Sur for the kickoff of National Teachers’ Month celebrations.

The event offered teachers free services, including medical consultations, laboratory tests, wellness treatments, massages, and other freebies from participating partners.

PhilPost also launched a commemorative stamp for the 2024 National Teachers’ Month, paying tribute to the dedication and courage of educators.

Winners of the Region I Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipino Teachers award were also in attendance.

The second half of the program featured raffle draws and a variety show highlighting local talent.

Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara expressed his gratitude and congratulations to all the teachers in attendance.

National Teachers’ Month is celebrated annually from September 5 to October 5.
