BMBHTE TO USE DONATED LOGS TO MAKE SCHOOL DESKS
THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education announced on Tuesday that it will use donated logs to build tables and arm chairs for schools in Buluan, Maguindanao.
The logs came from the trees that were cut along Buluan National Highway to prevent road accidents caused by falling branches.
A turn over ceremony was held on Monday between the provincial government of Maguindanao and the ministry.
“Improving the Bangsamoro education system seems an impossible task, especially in these trying times. But with the support and cooperation of key stakeholders such as the provincial government of Maguindanao, I believe we can make a difference and institute necessary reforms to advance our education infrastructures and improve service delivery,” MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal said.
Governor Bai Mariam Sangki Mangudadatu said that the initiative aims to provide better education and school facilities to learners.
