BMBHTE SUSPENDS CLASSES TO GIVE WAY FOR ELECTIONS
THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education ordered the suspension of classes to give way to the elections on Monday.
MBHTE said that classes and activities in schools under its jurisdiction were suspended from May 2 to May 13, 2022.
The ministry said that a number of teachers will serve in the elections and schools will be used as polling centers.
It also requested support from its constituents in the implementation of election-related activities.
The suspension is also in relation to the memorandum of the Department of Education and MBHTE Regional Memorandum on School Calendar and Activities for Academic Year 2021-2022.
Students welcomed the announcement of the suspension of classes.
