THE ATENEO de Naga University-Pacol Grade School campus was locked down for three days after one of its personnel tested positive for Covid19.

“In accordance with University’s internal protocols on Covid19, thorough disinfection at the Pacol Grade School campus is ongoing.  The Grade School campus will likewise be on lockdown from October 27 to 30 October 2020,” AdNU said in an advisory.

“This lockdown was not required by the city government, but is being implemented as an extra precaution. Immediate contact tracing was conducted and close contact employees are observing preventive home quarantine,” it added.

The university reminded its employees to observe all health protocols including the wearing of face mask and face shield, physical distancing, and proper washing of hands.

The university’s Incident Management Team is closely coordinating with the Naga City Covid19 Health Emergency Response Task Force to ensure the safety of everyone and to prevent the spread of the virus in the campus, the school said.

Bicol province has 2,455 Covid19 cases with 1,907 recoveries and 104 deaths.
