YOUTH LAWMAKER VOWS TO CONTINUE FIGHT FOR EDUCATION
KABATAAN Party-list Representative-elect Raoul Manuel on Monday vowed to continue the fight for quality education following his oath-taking before Sen. Francis Pangilinan.
Manuel will serve his first term when the 19th Congress opens in July.
Manuel said that he will push for health, livelihood and democratic rights.
Pangilinan and Manuel both served as UP Student Regents.
Witnesses to the oath-taking include youth leaders — Nathan Agustin, UST Central Student Council President; Izel Fernandez, Ang Pahayagang Plaridel Editor-in-Chief; Harvey Lao, Mindanaoan youth leader; and leaders and delegates of the founding organizations of Kabataan Party-list.
