YOUTH GROUPS HOLD RALLY ON BONIFACIO DAY

VARIOUS youth groups marked Bonifacio Day today by holding a rally at the University of the Philippines in Diliman Quezon City.
The rally started at 7 a.m. in Alfredo Lagman Hall. The protesters marched going to University Avenue at 8:30 a.m.
The College Editors Guild of the Philippines said the rally was held to protest the alleged negligence of the government.
It said that the protest was one way for the youth to “strike back against criminal negligence, red-tagging and terror law.”
The group also added that it was a fight by the ‘anak ng bayan’.
