CAGAYAN de Oro City 2nd District Rep. Rufus Rodriguez on Sunday condemned the bombing incident inside the Mindanao State University and assured that they are closely coordinating with the investigators to determine any possible victims from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental and extend all possible assistance to them.

Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong also promised to extend support and whatever assistance that they could provide to the victims and their families, as well as to the entire community affected by this heinous act.

“I will cover all medical expenses of those wounded. We have already deployed a team to assist the victims and their families at the Amai Pakpak Medical Center,” he said as he called for solidarity.

Lanao del Sur 2nd District Rep. Yasser Alonto Balindong also denounced the bombing and said that this reprehensible act undermines the ongoing efforts of Marawi’s residents to establish and maintain peace and stability adding that violence has no rightful place in our society.

For her part, ACT Teachers Partylist Rep. France Castro demanded a thorough and impartial investigation to hold the perpetrators accountable and bring them to justice.

“The safety and security of our educational institutions must be upheld, and such violent acts must be met with swift and decisive action,” she emphasized.
