RIZAL Fourth District Representative Fidel Nograles has welcomed another batch of ‘Future Natin‘ scholars from Colegio de Montalban who were given scholarships under Tulong Dunong of Commission on Higher Education-UniFast.

Nograles also distributed P25,000 in education assistance from the CHED to each student.

The lawmaker stressed that he had earlier sought Congress’ approval to give additional allocation for the educational assistance to students from Montalban.

“Congratulations po sa lahat ng ating bagong scholars at nawa’y magamit at makatulong po sa inyo ang allowance na inyong natanggap upang mas pagbutihin pa ang inyong mga pag-aaral, at matagumpay na makapagtapos sa inyong mga kurso sa kolehiyo,” Nograles said.

The lawmaker at the same time gave livelihood assistance to the parents of the students.

“Bagama’t may karagdagang puhunan pangnegosyo na po tayo na maaaring ipambili ng traysikad, kariton, at mga kagamitan para sa negosyong junkshop, patuloy naman po tayong nakaagapay at nakaalalay upang palaguin at pagyamanin ang mga maliit na negosyo,” he stressed.
