SENATOR GIVES CASH AID TO STUDENTS
SENATOR Imee Marcos assured that universities like the Pangasinan State University support the simple dream of every Filipino family to have their children graduate from college.
Marcos made the assurance as she visited the university and distributed financial assistance to 2,000 students from nine campuses in the province under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The senator said the PSU is the realization of the dream of her father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., to put up a state university in provinces like Pangasinan.
Sana makatulong ang ibibigay nating cash assistance ngayon,” she added.
Marcos distributed P5,000 cash to each beneficiary.
Beneficiaries thanked the senator for the assistance.
