SCOUT RANGERS HOLD COMBAT DRILLS WITH AUSTRALIAN TROOPS

FILIPINO and Australian troops trained side-by-side during the two-month Exercise Kasangga at Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan.
Col. Xerxes Trinidad, chief of the Philippine Army Public Affairs, said that 3rd Royal Australian Regiment troops and their Scout Ranger counterparts participated in a series of combat tracking drills at the camp.
The bilateral training aims to enhance Scout Rangers’ competency in urban operations.
The training also aims to further develop the skills of Australian troops in jungle and mountain operations.
