OF ALL the pediatric jab sites in Metro Manila, San Juan City had the highest number of children vaccinated on the first day of the launch of the inoculation of kids aged 5-11.

The city inoculated 736 children, making it the vaccination site with the highest number of administered jabs in a day.

The city also ranked first in terms of booster shots administered, reaching 54.99 percent of the target population set by the Department of Health or 58,930 doses given.

“My deepest gratitude goes to our San Juan City vaccination team for all your efforts and for continuously improving our vaccination process for San Juaneños. You really are our modern day heroes,” San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora said.

“I would also like to thank our residents for becoming part of the solution and getting the vaccine and the booster shots, especially to the parents who had their children vaccinated so we can all look forward to living normal lives very soon,” the mayor added.
