THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission has rescheduled the licensure examination for dentists.

The commission said that the exam’s written phase will be held from January 12 to 14, while the practical phase will be conducted from January 6 to 11.

The written exams were originally set on November 29 to 30 and December 1 to 10.

The PRC will open testing centers in Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo to cater to the number of examinees that testing centers in the National Capital Region can no longer accommodate.

Section 7 of Republic Act 8981 or the PRC Modernization Act of 2000 empowers the PRC to administer and conduct the licensure examinations of the various regulatory boards in accordance with the rules and regulations it may promulgate – to determine and fix the places and dates of exams.
