PAGCOR DONATES 500 TABLETS TO NAVOTAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS
THE PHILIPPINE Amusement and Gaming Corporation or PAGCOR has donated 500 tablets to public schools in Navotas, providing students with better access to digital learning tools.
The donation was received by the Schools Division Office of Navotas City, which confirmed that the devices will be distributed across various e-learning hubs in the city’s public schools.
Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco expressed his gratitude to PAGCOR for its support in enhancing education through technology.
He emphasized the importance of integrating modern tools into the learning process, saying that digital access plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education for Navoteño students.
“We believe in the power of technology to shape the future of our youth,” Mayor Tiangco said.
“These tablets will help students develop digital literacy and improve their learning experience. Thank you, PAGCOR, for being a valuable partner in our mission to uplift education in Navotas,” he added.
The donation is part of a broader initiative to strengthen digital education in the city.
By equipping public schools with modern technology, the local government aims to bridge the digital divide and provide students with the necessary tools to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Education officials assured that the tablets will be used efficiently in e-learning hubs, allowing students to access online resources, educational applications, and interactive learning modules.
The initiative is expected to benefit thousands of students who may not have personal access to digital devices.
Through partnerships like this, Navotas City continues to invest in the future of its youth, ensuring that education remains accessible, innovative, and aligned with the demands of the modern world.
