MANILA STARTS VACCINATING MINORS WITHOUT COMORBIDITIES
THE CITY of Manila started vaccinating adolescents without comorbidities on Wednesday, November 3.
Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso and Vice Mayor Doktora Honey led the inspection of vaccination sites in the city.
A total of 1,102 minors aged 12 to 17 received their first jabs against Covid19 in six hospitals.
More than 53,000 registered for vaccination as of November 2.
The mayor said inoculating minors is a key step towards achieving a safe and healthy Christmas for all.
The national government aims to inoculate at least 80 percent or some 9 million out of 12 million children by yearend.
