THE MANDALUYONG City government will set up vaccination sites in schools to intensify efforts in battling Covid19 and to prepare children attending face-to-face classes.

Mayor Ben Abalos said the City Health Department will initially set up vaccination areas at the Rizal Technological University, Andres Bonifacio Integrated School and Isaac Lopez Integrated School.

These jab sites will operate on Tuesday, August 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any student who wish to get vaccinated will be accommodated.

Abalos said more vaccination sites will be set up in schools in the coming days.

“We know that getting vaccinated is crucial for our children who will attend face-to-face classes. We want them to be protected. And of course we are reminding all our students to continue practice the minimum health protocols even if they are vaccinated,” he said.
