LOCAL EXEC HONORS TEACHERS AS FRONTLINERS IN EDUCATION FIGHT
MUNTINLUPA Mayor Ruffy Biazon paid tribute to educators as National Teachers’ Month began, describing teachers as frontliners in the country’s efforts to address the ongoing education crisis.
Biazon thanked teachers for their daily commitment to educating and mentoring students, particularly those struggling with learning gaps.
“Happy Teachers’ Month! Thank you for teaching and guiding our students every day. Amid the education crisis facing the country, you are among those on the frontlines of this fight,” the mayor said.
Biazon acknowledged the challenges teachers face in helping students recover from learning losses, noting that enabling children to catch up is far from easy.
He also described educators as valuable partners in Muntinlupa City’s efforts to strengthen its education system and improve learning outcomes.
The mayor concluded his message by expressing his gratitude and respect to all teachers, saying their dedication continues to inspire and uplift the community during National Teachers’ Month.
