THE LEAGUE of Filipino Students decried being red-tagged by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict and the Philippine National Police at a school program in Cavite.

Based on the screenshot provided by LFS, Anakbayan, Kabataan Partylist, College Editor’s Guild of the Philippines, and the National Union of Students of the Philippines were tagged as recruiters for the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army during a program at the Cavite National High School.

The LFS said that the red-tagging happened even after security officials were warned by Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla.

“Nangyari pa rin ang pangre-red tag ng mga kapulisan at NTF-ELCAC sa kabila ng babala ng gobernador ng Cavite dahil sa kaparehong pangyayari na naganap sa Cavite State University,” the group said.

“Tahasang kinokondena ng League of Filipino Students-Cavite ang pangre-red tag ng NTF-ELCAC at PNP sa mga legal na progresibong organisasyon at ang patuloy na panghihimasok nila sa mga paaralan upang magpakalat ng kanilang mga black propaganda!” it added.
