SENATOR Manuel ‘Lito’ Lapid stressed his desire to provide comfortable and convenient school facilities to students to encourage them to study well.

Lapid made the statement during the inauguration of ‘Senator Manuel Lapid Covered Court’ at Pampanga State Agricultural University, in Magalang, Pampanga.

The project was funded by Lapid through the request of PSAU President Dra. Anita David.

The construction of the facility started last 2019 but was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Dahil sa kahirapan ng buhay namin noon, hindi po ako nakapag-aral ng kolehiyo kaya high school lang ang tinapos ko. Pangarap ko na makapagtapos ang mga estudyante na s’yang tatayong haligi at pundasyon ng ating susunod na henerasyon,” Lapid said.

The PSAU administration, along with more than 7,000 students expressed gratitude to the senator for the construction of the covered court.

The senator has also funded the construction of several school buildings in Don Honorio Ventura State University in Apalit Campus and other municipalities of Pampanga.
