SCHOLARS of the Energy Development Corporation can now do their internship abroad after EDC inked a partnership with the Counselors for Immigration and International Studies.

Under the agreement, CIIS will sponsor a qualified SIKAT scholar for the internship program abroad.

It will also shoulder the scholar’s cost of living during the duration of the program.

CIIS President and CEO Renato Bueno said it has been his long-time goal to help Filipino students as he believes that the next generation is the “hope of the country.”

He added that his group aims to give Filipinos opportunities to have a better life through education.

“For SIKAT scholars and graduates, this MOA with EDC is an opportunity on your part to change your life, the lives of the people that you will meet every day,” Bueno said.
