GRADUATES URGED TO CONTRIBUTE TO NAT’L DEV’T
HOUSE Speaker Martin Romualdez urged the 2024 graduates of Romblon State University to contribute to national development through their education, recognizing their crucial role in shaping the Philippines’ future.
“Your education and experiences here at RSU have equipped you with the tools and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in our society. Let us work together towards creating a better and brighter future for our nation,” Romualdez said.
The House leader was the keynote speaker at RSU’s 48th commencement exercises.
Romualdez also led the inauguration of RSU’s University Information System, a key component of its Information and communications technology Modernization Program.
“This project signifies a new era of smart campus in Romblon and will revolutionize the way information is managed and shared within the university,” he added.
The UIS would streamline university processes, automate tasks, and enhance data security measures to ensure efficient operations and protect sensitive information.
“By leveraging technology and innovation, we aim to cultivate future-ready students who excel in the digital world and contribute to academic excellence and creativity. These initiatives will set RSU apart as a unique institution in the region and beyond,” Romualdez said.
The Leyte representative expressed confidence in the ability of RSU graduates to rise to the occasion and take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
