PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte urged three members of the Presidential Security Group who passed the 2020/2021 Bar examinations to practice law.
The President invited the three — Capt. Joan Napay of the PSG Station Hospital, Lt. April Bayabao of the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and PSSg and Presidential Police Security Force Unit’s Byron Angelo Bacud— for a photo opportunity at Malago Clubhouse in Malacañang Park, PSG spokesperson Maj. Zeerah Blanche Lucrecia said.
“The President shared to them his personal experiences as a lawyer and as prosecutor,” Lucrecia said, quoting Napay.
“The President recommended to read more books on trial techniques and encouraged the new lawyers to engage in practice whether in the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) or in private,” she added.
Napay said she will serve the AFP.
The Supreme Court said that 8,241 out of 11,402 examinees passed the 2020/21 Bar exams.
