DEPED-TAGUM CITY ALL SET FOR SCHOOL OPENING

/ 25 August 2020

THE DEPARTMENT of Education in Tagum City has been recognized for its readiness to begin classes with the early development of its learning continuity plan.

This plan serves as a guide in the delivery of continuous and quality education to learners as classes open on October 5.

“Private partners understand the fate of DepEd under the new normal that is why their support and services were pouring in,” said Dr. Josephine L. Fadul, DepEd Tagum Schools Division Superintendent.

Dr. Fadul also recognized the contribution of all stakeholders, citing several activities such as the parent’s forum, conference of the Local School Board, and radio advocacy.

He added that a strong partnership with the private sector has resulted in an easy and systematic preparation for the opening of classes.

Meanwhile, production of the locally made self-learning module is now on its final phase, thanks to the help of Rubio Memorial Services which provided bond papers, alcohol, WiFi modem, USB, printers, and sound system.

This effort greatly contributed to the readiness of Tagum City’s 38 schools for printing of the module for the first quarter of school year 2020-2021.
