THE DEPARTMENT of Education officially inaugurated the Learners’ Convergence Philippines 2024 on Tuesday (July 9, 2024) in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

In its Facebook post, DepEd said that the participating youth leaders are eager to learn new knowledge they will be gaining in the one-week program of #LearnConPH2024.

“Each of you has a unique perspective that can drive change, inspire innovation, and foster a more dynamic and relevant education system,” Vice President and outgoing DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio said.

“To achieve these, we must ensure that you have a platform that enables you to participate in the education process, this convergence is one of the platforms,” she added.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the LearnCon Booth Festival was also held on Tuesday, where regions, government agencies, and external partners showcased their products and services.

LearnCon PH is an annual program under the Bureau of Learners Support Services-Youth Formation Division which aims to unite students, youth leaders, and education stakeholders to develop programs that will contribute to the -development of young people and their communities.
