DEPED, DAP INK PARTNERSHIP
THE DEPARTMENT of Education has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Development Academy of the Philippines to enhance the Academy’s capability-building initiatives for DepEd personnel.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara and DAP President and CEO Majah-Leah Ravago led the ceremonial signing.
According to DepEd, the agency and DAP will collaborate on leadership, management, and public policy training for personnel to support the development of a more resilient education system.
“We are fully utilizing DAP’s potential and capacity to improve our people—not only those who will serve and train, but also those who will benefit from the training,” Angara said.
Under the collaboration, DAP will provide technical assistance in establishing a permanent Secretariat for the Philippine Qualifications Framework-National Coordinating Council, institutionalizing foresight and future thinking within DepEd, and enhancing the leadership and management skills of DepEd personnel through targeted capacity-building programs.
