COVID JABS TO BOOST SAFETY OF STUDENTS — HEALTH EXPERT
IT WILL be safer for all concerned if children who will participate in the pilot run of face-to-face classes are vaccinated against Covid19, a health expert said on Friday.
Dr. Lulu Bravo, head of the National Adverse Effects Following Immunization Committee, said it would be better to hold physical classes if children have been given jobs to protect them from Covid19..
Of course, they will use their minimum public standards, such as mask and face shield,” Bravo said in a Palace media briefing.
The Department of Education plans to start limited in-person classes on November 15.
The inoculation of minors with comorbidities aged 12 to 17 will begin on October 15 in eight hospitals in the National Capital Region.
Bravo stressed that it would also be good for children who will participate in physical classes to have all adult members of their families vaccinated.
