COCOPEA THANKS DEPED FOR EXTENDING BLENDED LEARNING
THE COORDINATING Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines thanked the Department of Education for allowing private schools to have a flexible learning option beyond November 2.
“The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines, expresses its gratitude to and commends the decision of the Department of Education to extend the offering of blended and distance learning modalities in the private schools after October 31, 2022,” Cocopea Managing Director Joseph Noel Estrada said.
Under DepEd Order 44, private schools can implement five-day in-person classes; blended learning or full distance learning.
“With this, the benefits and innovations of these flexible learning modalities can be maximized and utilized by learners and learning institutions,” Estrada said.
Cocopea, he added, will continue to collaborate with DepEd and assist students in their needs.
Beginning November 4, public schools will hold face-to-face classes five times a week.
