CATHOLIC BISHOPS PRAISE EDUCATORS ON TEACHERS’ DAY
THE CATHOLIC Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines on Tuesday praised teachers for their big role in molding the youth.
To mark World Teachers’ Day, CBCP President Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles lauded the educators for helping students.
“Today we celebrate National Teachers’ Day. As a people we show our sincere gratitude and appreciation in a very special way today to our teachers for their constant sacrifice and dedication in fulfilling their very crucial role in our society – the educational formation of our young people,” Valles said.
Prayers were offered at holy mass in churches on Sunday for the continued guidance and safety of all teachers in the country.
The CBCP asked the public to pray for the teachers to have wisdom and to not give up on their students.
