/ 27 September 2024

THE CITY Government of Caloocan recently inaugurated a new e-library located along 10th Avenue, Barangay 62. The project, spearheaded by the Caloocan Cultural Affairs and Tourism Council (CATC), is led by Chairperson Aubrey Malapitan.

The newly-opened library features thousands of books in both physical and digital formats and is open to the public from Monday to Friday.

Mayor Along Malapitan expressed his gratitude to all those who supported his directive to establish an e-library in the city. He also encouraged his constituents, particularly the youth, to take advantage of the available resources for academic purposes or leisure.

The mayor also reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the interests of the youth by implementing programs and policies aimed at guiding them away from distractions and toward becoming productive citizens of the city.
