A BILL that seeks to establish two campuses of the Cebu Technological University has been signed into law by President Rodrigo Duterte.

Republic Act 11751 will create the CTU-Liloan campus and CTU Borbon campus.

The two campuses are seen to help ramp up education in the fifth district of Cebu province.

The two campuses will offer technical-vocational, undergraduate and graduate courses in their areas of competency.

The funding for the establishment of the campuses will be sourced fromt the General Appropriations Act or the national budget.

The bill was authored by Cebu 5th District Representative Duke Frasco and was sponsored in the Senate by Sen. Joel Villanueva.
