EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara highlighted the role of teachers in the 2025 elections as they assist during such time.

Angara assured the public transparency of the upcoming May 2025 elections during the official signing of the partnership between the Department of Education and the Commission on Elections.

The DepEd chief expressed his gratitude to Comelec for offering early and proactive support in the training of thousands of teachers who regularly serve as guardians of the electoral process.

“We are here to support Comelec in every way we can because they are leading an important democratic exercise that our nation will undertake together,” Angara said.

Earlier, Comelec said that teachers serving in midterm elections will be receiving higher pay this year plus a service incentive.
