ACADEMIC YEAR ALL FIGURED OUT BY PNU

THE PHILIPPINE Normal University unveiled plans on how it will proceed with the upcoming academic year using flexible learning schemes amid the Covid19 pandemic.

The PNU University Student Council posted on its Facebook page that term 1 of the school which starts on August 27, will be focused on the ‘essential contents of our curriculum, those that will not require much groupings and face-to-face interactions’.

It added the school will utilize its Learning Management System and clustered instructional materials to cater to all students.

The student council gathered together representatives and class presidents to an online meeting and laid down ways on how students can push through with their education.

As per government guidelines, schools are encouraged to use online classes as face-to-face learning are still discouraged due to the current health crisis, but should offer alternatives means to cater to all students.

The PNU will also offer drive-thru at gates for releasing of instructional materials for those who have vehicles, while others can get it via courier or at designated drop-off points.

The council assured PNU is ready to start classes and have contacted block representatives to help working students to acquire flexible schedules.
