PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte said that all presidential candidates in the upcoming elections are qualified to run.

“They are all qualified, kung sino man sila. Those running now are qualified to run for president,” Duterte said.

However, he said that one of the candidates may have been influenced by the communist group.

Duterte initially criticized some of the candidates including Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. for being a “weak leader” and Vice President Leni Robredo as the presidency “is not a woman’s job.”

A few months away from stepping down, he said that he has packed his bags and is ready to go to “where he belongs.”

Presidential candidates held their proclamation rallies on Tuesday, the start of the campaign period.
