THE COMMISSION on Higher Education recognized the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan for its outstanding performance as a higher learning institution.

CHED’s Regional Office 10 recently organized the 4th Regional Quality Awards 2023 during the Commission’s 29th Founding Anniversary and the 3rd National Higher Education Day.

During the event, XU was given four awards by the commission.

These are the Award of Distinction for its inclusion to the 2023 Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (651-700); and Award of Recognition as a Top Performing School Nationwide in the Professional Regulation Commission Licensure Examinations for nurses, lawyers and chemical engineers.

XU also received the Award of Recognition for having 18 graduates who garnered the 10 highest places in various PRC Licensure Examinations between April 2022 and May 2023; and Award of Commendation to Jameson Glen C. Lim for being ranked as Top 1 Performing Examinee in the May 2022 PRC Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers.

“Xavier Ateneo is deeply grateful to CHED RO X for the recognition that they have given Xavier Ateneo through these prestigious awards,” the university said.

“We congratulate and thank all the students, faculty, staff, and administrators for their unwavering commitment to excellence,” it added.
