THE UNIBERSIDAD De Zamboanga held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Laboratories Annex Building that will soon rise at Doña Josefina Drive, Don Toribio St., Tetuan, Zamboanga City.

UZ said that the annex will be a five-story building with a floor area of over 3,000 square meters.

It will house more cutting-edge labs and simulation rooms, including an animal house, crime lab, nursing simulation center, and dental laboratories, among others.

Assistant Vice President for Administration Alfredo Eustaquio said that the project will help students in their educational needs.

“By doing this, we can ensure that the students have all their needs for their education and future ambitions. As we all know, the future of our society will be greatly influenced by our students; thus, providing them with the best possible education is our top prioritv,” Eustaquio said in his speech during the ceremony.

The turnover ceremony of the Annex Building is expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.
