UNIBERSIDAD de Zamboanga and DOST Advanced Science and Technology Institute have inked a partnership to provide training and workshops to advance their knowledge and skills in science and technology.

The Memorandum of Agreement signing was held last July 19.

University Vice President for Finance Azenath Eustaquio-Zamora represented UZ at the presentation and meeting of partners during the Advanced Science, Technology, and Innovation Convention.

According to its post on social media, the participation of UZ in the event underscores the University’s “commitment to advancing science and technology through collaborative partnerships.”

“UZ looks forward to future collaborations and advancements in science and technology through its partnership with DOST-ASTI.”

ASTICon aims to become the premier information and communications technology research and development showcase event in the country, setting itself apart from other DOST-ASTI promotional activities such as science and technology weeks, according to the university’s post.

The workshop focused on advancing technology through collaboration and sharing expertise in internet technologies.
