UST STUDENTS WIN SILVER MEDAL IN ASEAN TABLE KITCHEN TILT
A TEAM of culinary entrepreneurship students from the University of Santo Tomas bagged the silver medal in the ASEAN Table Kitchen Competition.
They are Daniel Dalipe, Franchezka De Roxas, and Angelo Gabrielle Lati.
De Roxas crafted the Thai Basil Chicken with Layered Squash Curry Puff appetizer, while Lati made the Chayote and Chicken in Herb Broth soup.
In the Main Course, Dalipe presented his Cereal Chicken and Shrimp with Nasi Goreng and Sambal Vegetables.
The students were mentored by Ramona Olga Ko, who served as their faculty coach, and Ched Reynald Andaya, who served as their guide.
Themed “Highlighting the ASEAN Founding Countries (Freestyle Cooking)”, the competition was organized by the Commission on Higher Education – National Capital Region.
