A GRADUATE of the University of Santo Tomas topped the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission last month.

Jhoone Cyrelle Dela Cruz Nacario led the successful examinees with a rating of 88.33 percent.

Darleen May Baria Alcantara of San Beda University and Yanna Jillianne Beriarmente Cruz of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines shared the second spot with a score of 88.17 percent.

In third place is Charlene Mae Noche Perez, also from UST, who scored 88 percent.

The PRC said 990 of 4,442 examinees passed the test held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The licensure exam was given by seven members of the Board of Accountancy, including Noe G. Quiñanola as chairman.
