THE UNIVERSIDAD de Sta. Isabel in Naga City, Camarines Sur denied owning the Facebook page USI NAGA SHOUT OUT.

USI said that the page, which uses its logo and name and which also has 829 followers, is not affiliated with the university.

It added that the administrators of the page did not get the approval of the university to use its logo for their page.

It warned its constituents to use their discretion when dealing with the posts of the page.

The school made the statement after the said page has been consistently posting nonsense and malicious content.

“As much as the university believes and upholds the right to freedom of expression, we hold that this does not necessarily mean freedom from consequences,” USI said.

“May we remind students and stakeholders to practice such right responsibly — free from any malice and/or negligent remarks,” it added.
