UPLB GRAD TOPS REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER EXAM

A GRADUATE of the University of the Philippines Los Baños topped the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.

Timothy Regienald Rongavilla Zepeda led the successful examinees with a score of 90.95 percent.

Prince Ian Francisco Cruz of the Technological University of the Philippines Manila came in second with 90.65 percent, while Christian Degal Huenda of Capiz State University ranked third with 90.05 percent.

The PRC said that 1,218 out of 3,945 examinees passed the exam.

Bohol Island State University was the lone top performing school with 56 out of its 68 takers or 82.35 percent passing the exam.

Meanwhile, the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination was topped by Prince Ian Francisco Cruz of TIP Manila who got a rating of 94 percent.

The PRC said 800 out of 1,490 examinees passed the RME exam.
