UPHSI WINS TWO BEST PRESENTER AWARDS AT INT’L BUSINESS RESEARCH CONFERENCE
THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines High School in Iloilo (UPHSI) secured two Best Presenter awards at the 6th Northern Philippines Business Research Conference 2025, held last week at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) in Pasig City.
The study “Consumer Behavior and Preferences Towards Green Skincare Products”— presented by Kyraphielle Defensor Fortaleza, Francisca Victoria Jocsing, and Deborah Jane Cacho Leigh— earned one of the Best Presenter awards.
Another Best Presenter award was given to “Probing Preferences for Local and Foreign Products: Study of the Level of Xenocentrism and its Determinants Among Iloilo City Consumers”, presented by Tiffany Lorraine Jamayo Casidsid, Mary Antoniette Sumaylo Nalangan, and Robert Caesar Gallego Pinuela, among others.
On the second day, the student researchers participated in parallel sessions based on their topics, engaging in discussions with other attendees.
The students were mentored by Prof. Reynold Tan, Ph.D., and accompanied by Dr. Myla Fe Pinuela and Asst. Prof. Alonzo Francisco Locsin during the conference.
The event brought together scholars, researchers, and industry practitioners to discuss business research and innovations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Organized by Northwestern University (Laoag) in collaboration with the UA&P School of Management and the University of St. Louis Tuguegarao, the conference aimed to highlight groundbreaking business studies.
