STUDENTS of the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta denounced the move of the school endorsing the candidacies of former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’  Marcos, Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

In a statement, the Student Councils  said that the endorsement was against the school’s teaching of having a “Perpetualite Community.”

“The endorsement made by the [UPHSD] does not reflect the values and principles the institution upholds,” the students said.

“As Perpetualite student-leaders, we stand for a leader who is honest, competent, and present especially during difficult times,” they added.

The councils expressed their support for Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate, Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan.
