UP HOLDS VIRTUAL JOURNALISM SUMMIT
AS PART of its 32nd anniversary celebration, the Union of Journalists of the Philippines – University of the Philippines Diliman will hold a virtual Journalism Summit for Campus Journalists this week.
With the theme ‘DYARYOLOGUE 2020: JOURNALISM SUMMIT, A Campus Journalism Workshop for High School Students and Campus Paper Advisers’, the sessions will be held on September 19 and September 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. via Zoom and Facebook live.
Each session will be composed of two lectures — News Writing and Editorial Writing on September 19 — and Filipino Writing and Layout and Design on September 26.
The event is an undertaking of UP SAMASKOM, UP IECEP, UP Journalism Club in cooperation with, UP AVCOM – Association of Visual Communicators, UP Chemical Society, UP Radio Circle, UP Volleyball Club, UP POLITICA, UP Harong.
The event is free. However, only 200 participants will be allowed to join each lecture.
