UP DILIMAN GRADUATE TOPS LIBRARIAN LICENSURE EXAMS
A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the Librarian Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Francisco Fillon Magpantay Jr. led the successful examinees with a score of 90.50 percent.
Rebilyn Garcia Roman of the City Colleges of Angeles in Pampanga came in second with 88.70 percent, while Ian Dominic Pasicolan Sipin, also from UPD, ranked third with 87.80.
Ma. Nicole Reduta Tacuboy of UPD placed fourth with 86.95, and UP Mindanao in Davao City graduates Iris Jill Duqueza and Simon Philip Reyes Sacramento ranked fifth with 86.70 percent.
The other successful examinees in the top 10 list are Nico Jose Moteveros Regalado of UPD (86.60); Dennis Taruda Moldes of University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City (86.40); Mikhaella Dela Torre Javier of UPD (86.35); Ynna Francesca Javier Pidor of UP Mindanao (86.10); and Samuel Vicente Refugio Jr. of UP Mindanao (85.15).
The PRC said 113 out of 247 examinees passed.
The top performing schools with six or more examinees getting at least 80 percent passing rate are the UP Diliman (100); Saint Paul University-Surigao (100); Adventist University of the Philippines (100); and UP Mindanao (100).
