UNIVERSITY OF ST. LA SALLE, DEPED TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP TO TEACHERS
THE UNIVERSITY of St. La Salle partnered with the Department of Education office in Bacolod City to provide scholarship to teachers and school heads.
The scholarship program, dubbed School Heads Academy, aims to enhance the knowledge, capabilities and leadership abilities of teachers.
Under the agreement signed by USLS President and Chancellor Br. Joaquin Severino Martinez and Schools Division Superintendent Reynaldo Gico, the DepEd-Bacolod City Division will pay for the cost of the scholarship program for three semesters.
The scholars will be trained at the USLS.
The school will use its facilities and resources and will be in charge of the overall administration and management of the project.
